Accept referrals, organize medical information, schedule clinic appointments

Evaluate patients and prepare them for surgery

Coordinate most of the pre-operative testing (not upper endoscopy & colonoscopy)

Manage information sessions & support groups

Approve patients for surgery then send their information over to the Casco Bay Surgery staff for scheduling & insurance approval

Provide all of the follow-up nutritional care & advice

Do all LAP-BAND adjustments

Available by phone Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Schedule upper & lower endoscopy, when required

Schedule all surgery and manage insurance approval process (although patients whose insurance denies surgery may need to do quite a bit of work on their own to keep the process going)

24/7/365 answering service coverage by the surgeons of Casco Bay Surgery, including Drs. Wolff & Cobean

Questions before you've been given a first appointment (while you're on the waiting list)
